The Bently Nevada TK-3 Proximity System Test Kit is designed to simulate shaft vibration and position, enabling the calibration of Bently Nevada monitors. It ensures that both the monitor readouts and the proximity transducer system are functioning correctly. By using this test kit, you can confirm that the transducer inputs and the corresponding monitor readings are precise, maintaining the accuracy of the entire system.
The TK-3 employs a detachable spindle micrometer assembly for verifying the calibration of the transducer system and position monitor. This assembly includes a universal probe mount that supports probe diameters ranging from 5 mm to 19 mm (0.197 in to 0.75 in). The mount secures the probe while the user adjusts the target towards or away from the probe tip in measured increments, recording the Proximitor Sensor's output with a voltmeter. Additionally, the spindle micrometer assembly features a handy magnetic base, making it easy to use in the field.
