The Leeb Hardness Tester PCE-900 measures the hardness of nine different metals utilizing the Leeb rebound method. In this process, a firing pin rebounds off a metallic surface, and the intensity of the rebound indicates the material's hardness. The PCE-900 can measure metal hardness across six different scales, including Rockwell, Vickers, Leeb, Brinell, and Shore. Within the Rockwell scale, it differentiates between Rockwell B and C measurements.
The Leeb hardness tester PCE-900 includes a standard type D impact probe, suitable for various measurements. With the optional software, measured values can be transmitted live to a PC, making the PCE-900 an essential tool for material inspection in goods control.
